Acupuncture

Acupuncture is believed to have originated around three thousand years ago in China.

Acupuncture is a gentle and therapeutic treatment which works by addressing patterns of imbalance.

Very fine needles are gently inserted into carefully chosen points along the meridians, or energy pathways within our body.  This enables the energy or Qi to move unhindered and smoothly throughout the body. Our minds are connected with our bodies, they influence one other and getting to the root of disharmony can have a profound influence on wellbeing.

Many people find the effect of acupuncture to be far greater than they expected and a lot of my patients come to see me for many years to support their physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Testimonials

‘I have just given birth to my second baby, thanks to Hazel. I was having problems conceiving second time and after just one month’s treatment with Hazel I fell pregnant. I continued the treatments throughout my pregnancy and looked forward to each one, leaving feeling so calm and relaxed…. Hazel I cannot thank you enough.’

‘… now that I have received treatment and have seen the amazing results, not only to the specific problem but also to my general wellbeing, I am a complete convert. Hazel has got a wonderful manner and I felt completely at ease from the moment I walked through the door. I urge you to give acupuncture a try - Hazel is the perfect person to see.’

‘Finally a good night’s sleep!

I was waking 4-6 times a night because of menopausal night sweats. As a result I was so tired that I felt simply overwhelmed. After a course of acupuncture sessions, the night sweats had radically reduced and I finally was able to get enough sleep. Hazel is a thorough and sympathetic practitioner. I am indebted to her. I would recommend Hazel, and her gentle professionalism, to anyone.’
